As part of our Photobooth package we offer a popular guestbook addon. The guestbook enables the photosheets to be placed alongside personalised messages from your guests, and will always serve as a reminder of the fun times had by your guests at your event. We’ll manage the guestbook, helping your guests stick the photosheet correctly and ensuring they treat it with the respect it deserves.
The ironic thing is that we very rarely actually see the completed guestbook ourselves! At the end of the evening we hand the guestbook over, prints and all, and carry our Photobooth out of the venue! Well we finally managed to sneak a few pictures of a couple of recent guestbooks for your enjoyment. Check these out:
Renee & Darren were recently married on a stunning March day in Wellington, and from as far back as May last year we had been discussing and planning the nuances and detail of their wedding. The morning began at their house – in such a state of repair and renovations it provided quite a contrasting backdrop to the beauty of the bride and her bridemaids getting ready for the day. A shoe hanging through a hole on the wall, the beautiful dress against the bare plastered gib, the bride standing in the uncarpted, unpainted bare hallway.
The ceremony was held at The Pines, Houghton Bay, where Diesel the dog was kept outside, but the guests inside were moved to tears by speeches and Renee & Darren’s vows.
Jumping in the most blinged out stretched Hummer I’ve ever seen, we cruised the beaches and bays of Wellington, sipping on champagne and jumping out for photo opportunities and enjoying the last rays of beautiful sunshine on the east beaches. In one of the most bizarre yet enjoyable photo sessions we visited the local 4-Square owner – and as regular patrons Renee & Darren were greeted and congratulated by the owner. A small dress mishap later (!) and we returned to The Pines to continue the evening.
Having lost his parents at a young age, this was a particularly emotional day for Darren and his sister (sweetly included in his grooms-party). That emotion was evident throughout the entire day, including his speech partnered with Renee. Not a dry eye was left in the building as Darren was so fondly welcomed into Renee’s family.
Tearing up the dancefloor to a mixture of old classics and modern dance tunes, we captured the engery and passion of the day – a few more tears, cries of laughter and plenty of good times.
As always, here are many more images of the day to enjoy in our slideshow.

In our passion for wedding photography, we also have a love of good videography. Gone are the days of clunky video cameras and cheesy videography set to terrible soundtracks.
The latest breed of digital SLRs has put film-making ability in the hands of already creative and talented photographers, and the work that is being produced is just stunning, absolutely stunning.
Have a look at a few of our recent favourites – these are absolutely beautiful videos:
Rob @ Cherish, previously a creative director at an advertising agency, shot his very first wedding film recently - a beautiful story of 2 cultures coming together.
There’s no website just yet, but the moment we find it we’ll be sure to update this post.
Filmed and edited on the wedding day, and presented at the reception on the night of the wedding, Drew @ Cana Video Production produced this video for his business partner Ben.
Finally, not a Wedding video as such – in fact, a promo video created for another photographer, beautifully produced by the folks over at stillmotion. The rest of their work is also worth a watch.
