The Photobooth in action!

June 14th, 2011 by Jason

Here’s a little promo video we recently put together of the Photobooth in action.

It seems a lot of people didn’t know what our Photobooth looked like – the fact it’s stylish and black, and blends in nicely to almost any venue.

They didn’t realise it’s a stand-up Photobooth – no seating limitations, look how many people you can squeeze in there!

They didn’t realise there’s a monitor to check your hair or perfect your pose – you know exactly how the photo is going to turn out.

And they didn’t know what our 6×4″ printed photosheets actually look like – what’s the point in a skinny little strip when we can print nice big photos? It’s not the 1960′s anymore!

So here’s a quick promo video we recently made – 1 min 45 secs of Photobooth awesomeness. Thanks to Daniel & Elena for letting us use their wedding!

Music track is “Daisy” by the awesome Fang Island. Check them out. Seriously. This was our soundtrack to the summer. There’s a high chance when driving to your wedding this summer we pumped ourselves up with a little bit of Fang Island, so if you want to know what makes WE DO tick, have a listen! (Plus their record label Sargent House was awesome enough to give me permission to use this track for my video. How cool is that? Buy their album. We did.)

Have a watch. Have a laugh. Book the Photobooth for your next event! :)

We’ll be at the NZI Sevens this weekend in conjunction with the good folk at ZM. If you’re partying at the Sevens be sure to slip inside the Photobooth (if your costume can fit!) for a memory printed free on the day, and you’ll find all the photos afterwards online at zmonline.com.

The Photobooth – the collage

January 28th, 2011 by Jason

The Photobooth is now officially over 12 months old! Although it was a twinkle in our eye much earlier than that, construction was completed prior to last Christmas, and we’re now rolling around with v2.0 of the Photobooth (not that you’d notice, more on that later!).

If you take a look to the right you’ll see also 12 months of archives. That’s right, we officially launched this new fan-dangled website last January also.

With a complete redesign coming very soon we thought we’d have a little bit of fun with the current design. To celebrate 12 months of Photobooth we’ve put together a collage of some of our “test” images, because you know – we need to test it’s working each time we setup!

Looking back through these images, what does it all mean?

  1. We still enjoy the Photobooth just as much as the first day. It never ceases to be fun. Remember that, your guests will love it!
  2. I need to get a new shirt & tie combo.

Rocktober Rocked

October 5th, 2010 by Jason

For something a little different, featuring Wellington’s Dress Up & Rock Out Party: Rocktober.

As The Golden Axes rocked hard we were there to capture a bit of the action. To steal a phrase from Catherine F-D, for those who rocked: we salute you.

Of course, no event would be absolutely complete without a Photobooth, all dressed up and looking resplendent in black:

And of course, no Photobooth event would be complete without a wickedly awesome slideshow of all the images. Thanks to the rockin’ AC/DC for this track. Rock on!

Pollyism of the week

September 30th, 2010 by Jason

We recently had the ever-so-lovely @pollygeegee from local radio station ZM as a client for her daughter’s pre-ball. How extravagant!

Polly loved the Photobooth, and I think she enjoyed it more than her daughter and guests. ;-)

Although she couldn’t mention our brand specifically in this article, we were there – this is our Photobooth. Unlimited photos, stupid costumes – that’s all part of the package.

If you get the chance, you have to do this for your wedding…

Well you do have the chance - Contact us!
